Last year I was at a friends house after a fantastic tubing trip and i found these half walnut shells in his front lawn. Immediately i thought they looked like little owl faces so i had this idea for the last year and i finally just had time to actually do it! I finally painted little faces on them and attached them to a chain. Heres how they came out!

What a creative idea - they turned out beautifully! The hollow eyes give them a haunting quality, very apt for owls!
